    What is internal wall insulation?

    Internal wall insulation is a method of insulating the walls of your home from the inside. It involves fixing insulation boards to the internal walls, which are then covered with plasterboard and finished with a skim coat. This process creates a barrier that helps to reduce heat loss from your home, making it more energy-efficient. By installing internal wall insulation, you can save up to £930 per year for detached houses or £540 for semi-detached, depending on the size of your home and its location.

    Do I qualify for a wall insulation grants?

    Under the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme, which is currently in its fourth iteration (ECO4), certain homeowners and tenants may be eligible for grants to cover the cost of wall insulation. In the case of part ownership with a Housing Association, if you own at least 50% of the property, you may still be eligible for a grant.
