    If you’re a homeowner or tenant, it’s worth checking if you’re eligible for a free loft insulation grant under the UK government’s Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme – or ECO4.

    You’ll need to be a homeowner and meet the ECO4 scheme qualifying criteria around your income, EPC rating and other factors.

    You can get grant funding to cover the entire cost of your loft insulation. If you do it yourself then you could expect to pay up to £800.
